Cum interpretează Apple prioritatea?

Dacă îndrăznești să-i spui unui utilizator de Mac ceva de rău despre OSX (sau chiar despre Apple, în general) riști să-ți tragă două palme și să-ți explice cum că, de fapt, nu ești tu obișnuit cu minunatele produse, sau, mai rău, ești obișnuit prost.

input type=”url” is broken!

In the same way you type in your address bar your favorite site without using protocol part (that is http://), I expect the same from input type="url". Unfortunately, Chrome (as well as other browsers; chill IE, I’m talking about real browsers!) decided that you must add the http:// part to your url!

Probably someone at w3c decided that it’s an awesome idea. Well, guess what! It’s a stupid idea!

PS: Developers that are too lazy to make an extra check on server side should quit their job.

Recently I had the third case of very slow comment submission on a blog with many comments. One of these blogs has a couple of posts with over 5000 comments each. The other two have a huge load of traffic (20-30k+/day) and a fairly high amount of comments (500-1000 comments/day).

How the problem was manifesting? While browsing the blog was snappy (less than 2 seconds document load), posting a comment will result in a 5 to 50 seconds page load. One of the blog also throw memory errors (it was hosted on a limited VPS). Citeste mai departe »
